We follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and all our teachers are qualified with this association. The syllabus is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of Acro Dance; Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. The syllabus was developed with input from professionals and experts in Ballet, Modern Jazz, Contortion, Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Yoga, Acro Yoga, Pilates and Physiotherapy and you will not find a more comprehensive programme anywhere else. Simple thoughtful progressions take the beginner preschool level dancer from log rolls and somersaults to the advanced dancer tumbling effortlessly across the stage. We introduced this syllabus as it works in harmony with a dancers body; gymnastics often tends to over arch the back but with Acrobatic Arts, the emphasis is based on the core, which is where all of our dance moves come from. We see more and more acro moves now being incorporated into many modern dance styles and so with the introduction of Acro into our syllabus, it means we can safely equip our dancers with the techniques they need to allow them to do these moves.
