Tap

Tap is excellent for developing a sense of rhythm and musicality – the children find it great fun learning different rhythms and trying to re-create them with their feet. Tap also encourages appreciation and interaction with a different type of music. The classes are structured around a tap syllabus which provides the children with all the steps they need to know.

Tap is rhythm – rhythm is tap. It is as popular today as it was in the heyday of the great Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly musicals. Shows such as 42nd Street, Crazy For You, and the more recently Stomp and Tap Dogs, highlight the great diversities of style and music in tapping.
